For mobile banner advertisements, the 300×100 format is currently out-performing everything else. If you aren’t using it yet as a publisher or advertiser in our traffic network, you’re missing out on monetization opportunities for mobile.
We just posted a new guide earlier this week for our ad publishers, describing in great detail how webmasters can make use of our display ads on their sites. To go along with this, we decided to write a little bit about the new banner format we recently implemented: The 3:1 Rectangle Mobile Banner (300 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall)
300×100 is a must-have mobile banner format for all!
If you aren’t using 300×100 banners on the mobile versions of your websites as a publisher, you’re doing it wrong. Similarly, if you aren’t including this banner format when creating banner campaigns as an advertiser, you’re doing it wrong. This is your chance to make a change and do it right!
This new format has been utterly crushing it for the advertisers & publishers making use of it, both in terms of click-through rate (CTR) on the banners and also how well the visitors sent through it are performing for our advertisers. And, let’s face, if our advertisers are happy and can bid more on traffic, everyone involved is happy.
Publishers earn more money, advertisers generate more conversions, and the PlugRush team can rest easy knowing our users are well taken care of.
Please help yourself to some extra money by using 300×100 mobile banners as soon as possible. Let’s make it rain together.
Publishers should…
… create 300×100 banner adzones and place them on the mobile versions of their sites. Webmasters, if you need help placing banners on your sites, read this guide.
If you’re an advertiser, do this!
Upload a bunch of banners in all the different formats we have available (160×600, 300×600, 300×250, 728×90, 250×250, 200×200, 336×280, 120×600, 970×90, 468×60, 320×50, 320×100, and 300×100) that you have banner creatives for to promote your offer or landing page. And yes, you can use animated GIFs.
After that, just make banner campaigns to buy some awesome clicked traffic.
