This past weekend, we sent four people from our team to Prague for The European Summit (TES). This is their quick report of the events that transpired in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Pro Tip: Read the whole blog post. At the end, we’ll share a secret you don’t want to miss.
Welcome to the TES Meet Market
We arrived at the affiliate conference on Friday, September 14th, and immediately headed to the Meet Market, where we had a chance to meet representatives of the companies attending this event primarily focused on the adult industry. It’s a great opportunity to talk shop with a large number of current and potential business partners in an atmosphere that encourages quick chats focused on potential business to be done.
Additionally, the Meet Market provides independent affiliates and media buyers with a terrific chance to meet reps of companies that may be of interest for them. Example: Many were happy to get a chance to meet with us from PlugRush, because we’re an ad network buying & selling high quality traffic. What’s not to love about that?
Suffice it to say, we had a nice time at the Meet Market!
Jørgen won the last leg of the YNOT Go Kart Racing Grand Prix
After leaving the Meet Market, we headed straight over to the go kart racing track for some fun and an epic victory! Unfortunately our awesome CEO Jørgen didn’t get a chance to make it to all the YNOT Go Kart Racing Grand Prix events this season, but he was able to take part in this final go kart race. In Norwegian viking fashion, he dominated throughout qualifying and then also in the final.
After 11 grueling laps that left one of his hands blistered and bloody, he emerged victorious from the final leg of the YNOT Go Kart GP and took home the 1st place trophy with a best lap time of 1:28.531.
From here, it was all business (and parties)!
We finished Friday off with a VIP party (special thanks to our friends at Traffic Partner for throwing it) at the 80’s Cafe, which ensured that everyone was hungover and tired the next morning to kick off two days of business and more parties. Luckily we had just the thing for that: Our famous hangover kits!
After all the hangovers were cured, we got down to business at our lounge and throughout the expo floor on Saturday and Sunday. Each night was completed with some obligatory partying. Don’t you just hate that?
To add some entertainment during meetings, our Head of Sales Alexandra hooked it up with a PlayStation. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time playing Mortal Kombat during meetings! And of course we also came bearing gifts. Not only did we bring an exclusive voucher for TES attendees, but also snacks to thank people for poppin’ by our lounge… and ask them to grab our nuts!
